A Shout-Out to People We Love Working With
We know how difficult it is to get a break in the creative industries, which is why we'd like to share with you the other young freelancers we've worked with many times. We feel these people deserve all the work they can get, and come with our highest recommendation.
Mera is a hugely talented Manx harpist and fiddle player who won the BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award in 2018. She's won two awards to date for her composition on our short film The Lost Wife, which evokes the Isle of Man and its folklore beautifully. We even made a film about her!
Phoebe has edited several projects for us now, and every one has been a joy. She's skilled in graphics, After Effects and can take an idea or desired effect and translate that into a successful and effective piece of editing. She edited our award-winning film An Endless Summer, and the accompanying behind the scenes video series.
Freya is an actress we've worked with many times, and hope to work with in the future. Always enthusiastic, Freya can be relied upon to know her character inside out and responds very well to direction, proven above and beyond when she filmed herself for our remote film An Endless Summer. She has also had a key role in BBC's Baptiste
RACHEL MAYES (DESIGNBYMAYES)
Rachel designed the beautiful, bold logo you see at the top of this website. Working with her was a smooth process and she took the vague idea we had and made it AWESEOME, providing a variety of options for us and taking our feedback on board at each revision stage. Her design has shaped our whole branding approach and we can't thank her enough. She also designed the title and intertitles on The Lost Wife.
LIV MUIR WILSON
Liv has composed a variety of scores for our film projects and always blows us away with the high quality of music she produces in such a short space of time. She will tackle any genre and always deliver a cracking score. Liv is someone we love to work with and we know you will too.
